Attorney Profile
Attorney Dina Afek is the founder of the Law Office of Dina Afek, P.C., a Tucson law firm serving Southern Arizona in matters involving divorce and family law. Ms. Afek handles matters involving child custody and child support, adoption, parental rights and more.
Prior to entering law school, Ms. Afek earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Hebrew University and her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Goddard College. After nearly twenty years as a therapist, Ms. Afek entered law school at the University of Arizona, graduating cum laude with her Juris Doctorate degree.
As a family law attorney with a background as a social worker and therapist, Ms. Afek is sensitive to the emotional and humanistic needs of the family members going through a divorce or custody dispute, experiencing domestic violence, or other family law matter. Ms. Afek is a trained mediator who encourages parties to explore collaborative solutions wherever possible.
Ms. Afek is very active in the community and also contributes her time and expertise to helping others through the Legal Aid Family Law Clinic and other organizations. She also serves as a Judge Pro Tem for Arizona Superior Courts. Ms. Afek is multilingual in German, Hebrew and English. She has three children, two of whom she adopted.
